It’s a Jelly, eh?

Jellyfish #3

Taken on a recent trip to Monterey, California. Sea Nettle, Chrysaora Fuscescens, is a type of jellyfish found in coastal waters from Alaska to California. If you haven’t been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium then you should plan a trip. Set right on the ocean and fed with real sea water it is one of the best.

gorgeous photo. The Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi has a really cool sort of huge tube of these guys in their jellyfish exhibit. They also have the ones that light up like Christmas Trees and itty bitty ones. At least the last time I was there they did! They have redone their exhibits again, and I haven’t been to see it since the revamp was finished. It’s alway an awesome place to visit!

Happy New Year!!
